He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hannah Haifa and Kemla Haifa; his wife Leila Trad; his children, Carlo Haifa (Michelle), Caroline Newell (Brian), Mario Haifa (Jess) and Marilyn Haifa (Travis Lipski); his grandchildren, Brittany Lue (Jeremy), Alexander Haifa, Mario J. Haifa and Conner J. Haifa; his great grandchild Alexis Lue; and his siblings, Wahded Farah (family: Nahemi Haifa), Antonios Haifa, Faraj Haifa, Elias Haifa and Isabelle Haifa.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Sharbel Church (2914 W Scenic Dr, Peoria, IL 61615). A rosary was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
