He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Zoss and Mary Zoss (Reber); his wife Nellie M. Kennell; his daughter Lucy Moyer; and his siblings, Dorothy Hostetler and Kenny Zoss.

He is survived by: his son Rich Zoss (Esther) of Mt. Dora, FL; his son-in-law Dean Moyer of Metamora, IL; and his grandchildren, Dexter Zoss of Phoenix, AZ, Monica Zoss of Ormond Beach, FL and Deon Zoss of Metamora, IL..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Linn Mennonite Church, 1594 County Road 1700 N, Roanoke, IL 61561.
