It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Benjamin E. Kennell of Washburn, Illinois, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Solomon Kennell and Lena Kennell (Zoss); his siblings, Roy Kennell and Wilma Ulrich; his son-in-law Raymond Petersheim; and his grandchildren, Darla Shellhorn and Licahan Kennell.

He is survived by: his wife Edith Kennell; his children, Charles Kennell (Julie) of Washburn, IL, Les Kennell (Jill) of Washburn, IL, Rachel Hostetler (Marvin) of Roanoke, IL, Carolyn Imhoff (Bob) of Eureka, IL and Judy Miller (Stanton) of Hutchinson, KS; and his great grandchild Esther Litwiller. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; and forty-seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to South Side Mission, 1127 South Laramie Street, Peoria, IL 61605.
