He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Barnett and Dora Marie Barnett (Hess); his siblings, John Herbert Barnett, Donald "Bud" Barnett and Donna Barnett Balmer Metternich; his sister-in-law Shirley Nesbit Mondon; his nephews, Gerry Barnett, Jeffrey Buckert and Jim Barnett; and his great-niece Somer Barnett.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Nesbit of Warsaw; his former wives, Kathy Witt and Debbie Skinner; his sons, Tom Barnett (Jennifer) of Donnellson, IA, Marc Barnett of Oregon and Michael Barnett of Roseville, CA; his grandchildren, Zachary, Kenneth, Ethan and Abbie Barnett; his great grandchildren, Aaron, Abe Heins and Waylon Barnett; his sister Florence "Betty" Buckert of Hamilton; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Barnett, Pat Vickers and Jerry Nesbit. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
