He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Nagel and Ida Nagel (Koehler); and his daughter-in-law Judi Nagel. He is survived by: his wife Charlot Nagel of Warsaw; his sons, Rod Nagel (Kim) of Warsaw, Rick Nagel of Warsaw and Jeff Nagel of Warsaw; his brothers, Donald Nagel of Sutter and James Nagel of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Amy, Ashley, Ryan, Eric and Nick. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
