She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Dale Markey and Evelyn W. Markey (Gunn); and her brother Edward. She is survived by: her sons, Chad Schafer (Morgan) of Port Orange and Luke Hopson (Robin Gassaway) of Warsaw; her significant other Harold "Harry" Marcionetti of Quincy, Illinois; her grandchildren, Gracie, Lola Schafer, Charlotte Hopson and Roland Bouchard; and her siblings, Stephen Markey (Julia) of Tioga, Richard Markey of Quincy, Colette Swisegood (Steve) of Hamilton, Russell Markey (Joan) of Warsaw, Candace Kleemeyer (James) of Lima and Tracy Markey (Lorinda) of Tennessee, Illinois.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Memorial Hospital in Carthage or Immaculate Conception Church in Carthage.
