He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Launer and Hattie Lucinda Launer (Gavillet); his wife Norma Jean; his son Leo Andrew Launer; and his siblings, Wilma Shay, Leota Antoine, Mabel Heagy, Jean Berg, Rodney Launer, Wilbur Launer, Russell Launer, Homer Launer and Donnie Launer.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Gonterman of Wever, Cindy Heathcott (Joe Wayne) of Newbern, Russell Launer (Hilda) of Warsaw and Sheila Hauk of Warsaw, Illinois; his grandchildren, Angela McGuire (Kevin), Audrey Gearin (Ricky), Amber Jo McCutchen (Andrew), Joseph Heathcott (Ashley), Daniel Launer (Billie), Roy Launer (Faye), Shawn Hauk, Derek Hauk (Dana), Danny Ray Launer, Dustin Launer (Brooke) and Leo Brandon Launer (Cynthia); and his sisters, Marilyn Cameron of Basco and Mardelle Reed of Carthage, Illinois. He is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren with one on the way; one great-great grandchild.
