He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter W. Casady and Ida Marie Casady (Wymore); his sister Becky Stanley; and his grandson Gavin Roskamp. He is survived by : his former life partner Margaret Johnson; his wife Carol Casady of Warsaw; his children, William "Bill" Casady (Barbara) of Warsaw, Deb Roskamp (Max) of Sutter, Paul Casady of Keokuk, IA and Ariel Benedict (Andrew) of St Francisville, MO; his grandchildren, Jenna Gakumo (Steve), Megan Kaneer, Rachel Riley (Kevin), John Roskamp (Christy), Justin Roskamp, Brandon Sage, Janelle Casady, Joel Casady, Jessica Casady, Audrina Benedict, Riley Benedict and Lillian Benedict; and his stepchildren, John Morton (Sherry), Susan Gribler (Kirk), Lillian Foulks (Glenn), Lauralisa Anderson, David Morton (Brenda) and Thomas Morton (Amy). He is also survived by many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be directed to First Presbyterian Church of Warsaw or the Hancock County Historical Society, where he remained an active volunteer until his death.
