With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Mudd of Warsaw, Illinois, who passed away on June 10, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mudd and Velma Mudd; and his sister Sue Mudd. He is survived by: his wife Barbara of Warsaw; his children, Robb Mudd (Karen) of Jacksonville, Susan Wherley (Jeff) of Macomb and Scott Mudd (Carla) of Carthage; his grandchildren, Austin Mudd (Hannah), Jordan Reed (Dylan), Karsyn Mudd, Kendyl Mudd, Kaylea Schmidt (Brad), Madison Wherley (Zach Grover), Jacob Wherley, Jennifer Cooper, Drake Mudd and Chase Mudd; his great grandchildren, Mia Mudd, Norah Reed, Sloane Schmidt, Barrett Schmidt, Lillian Cooper, Evan Cooper and Kobi Wherley; and his sister Doris Ann Wilson (Melvin) of Burlington. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
