He is survived by: his father Michael Merriman; and his siblings, Mary Merriman (Ruth Stetter), David (Eleanor), Grace Bell (Tom), Dominic (Joy), Rita Wilson and Rebecca Lorenz (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
