He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Helen Maxine Johnston (Westerman); his wife Elizabeth Enzor; and his brother Robert Johnston. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Shedd (Gary) of Rockton, John W. Johnston (Victoria) of Benecia, CA and David W. Johnston (Jennifer) of Maroa; his grandchildren, Kevin Shedd (Jenna), Jennifer Shedd, Arabella Johnston and Alivia Johnston; his great grandchild Eliott Shedd; and his brothers, Gary Johnston (Joyce) and Mike Johnston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
