She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Townsend and Irene Townsend (Logemann); her husband Ted Olin Balbach; her siblings, Harlan Townsend (Beulah) and Madge Dawson (Gordon); her son-in-law Stuart Becher; her niece Kelly Kupersmith; and also, Olin and Rosella Balbach (Haugen).
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Becher of Stansbury Park, Susan Stone (Todd) of Warren, Cathy Brinker (Scott) of Lena, Diane Davis (Dennis Harwood) of Plover, WI and Joanne Soper (David) of Avon, IN.; her grandchildren, Charity Brinker of Galena, Matthew Davis (Kylie) of Deforest, WI, Jamie Davis (Pia) of Ann Arbor, MI, Doug Stone of Shannon, Nate Stone of Lena, Tyler Soper (Kayla Smith) of Indianapolis, IN, Paige and Conner Soper of Avon, IN.; her great grandchildren, Bella, Marigold Davis, Kameron and Kaden Davis; her sisters, Reita Sheffey and Patricia Molitor; and her sister-in-law Jane Balbach. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in Wilma's name.
