He is survived by: his wife Colleen Rose McDermott; his children, Katherine Esser (George) of Alma Center, WI, Tom Korte (Jean) of Freeport, IL and Mary Korte; his grandchildren, Nicole Esser, Lucas Esser (Lindsey), Caitlin Solsrud (Justin), Jacob Esser (Ayla Masurin) and Michael Ryan Decker; his sisters, Lenora Jackson of Santa Ana, CA, Rita Orr (Darrell) of Hartland, WI and Cheryl Holland (Richard) of Flower Mound, TX; his sister-in-law Linda Korte of Lena, IL; and his brothers, Robert Korte (Sharon) of South Beloit, IL, Donald Korte of Warren, IL and Roland Korte of Warren, IL.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
