She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Hess and Dorothy Hess (Schultz); her husband Henry "Hank" Steuart; her brother Jim Hess; and her sister-in-law Rose Hess of Galena, IL..

She is survived by: her children, Steve Steuart (Sandy) of Beaumont, TX, Susan Monak of Rockford, IL, Patti Dole of Rockford, IL, Craig Steuart (Barb) of Rockford, IL, Cathy Steuart (Mike Skorski) of Rockford, IL, James Steuart (Esperonza) of Seattle, WA., Tana Baginski (Brian) of Brookfield, IL and Cindi Lira (Steve Harrington) of Gurnee, IL; her brother David Hess of Galena, IL; and also Ayden. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.

Social distancing will be practiced and masks will be required.

A memorial has been established in her name for the Wickler-Copland Post 464.
