He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Reed and Florence Reed (Bingham); his brother Francis Reed; his mother-in-law Berneice Saunders; his brother Donald; and his siblings-in-law, Charlene Saunders and Bernard Saunders.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Kathryn Helene Butler; his wife Kathryn of Darlington, WI; his children, Brenda Peterson (Mark) of New Glarus, WI, Susan Zambrovitz (John) of Warren, IL and Rick Reed (Sue) of Pearl City, IL; his grandchildren, Mandy Hartzell (Matt) of Warren, IL, TJ Zambrovitz (Jessie) of Rockford, IL, Carly Peterson of Milwaukee, WI, Betsy Zirbel (Cody) of Monona, WI, Dustan Reed (Cassi) of Pearl City, IL and Aaron Reed (Taylor) of Pearl City, IL; his great grandchildren, Lizzy Hartzell, Alyssa Zambrovitz, Zane Hartzell, Laynee Zambrovitz, Aidan Zambrovitz, Deacon Reed, Callee Reed, Daxton Reed, Will Zirbel and Dezmond Reed; and his sisters-in-law, Nelda Reed of Monroe, WI and Barbara Saunders of Warren, IL. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
