She was predeceased by: her parents, Helmer Hammer and Elsie Hammer (Hess); her husband John Crain Sr.; her son Edward Crain; and her siblings, Austin Hammer (Jane), Marlow Hammer, Delano Hammer and Beulah Townsend (Harlan).
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Guenzler (Ivan) of Stockton, John Jr. Crain (Charla) of Pearl City, Jeannie Reel (Jack) of Lena and James Crain (Mary Lynn) of Summerville, SC; her grandchildren, Tina Brinkmeier of Warren, Scott Guenzler (Judi) of Davis, Valerie Dunlavey (Kevin) of Browntown, WI, Jennifer Reel (Chris McMillan) of Austin, TX, Tim Reel (Tami Bidlingmaier) of Winslow, Mark Crain of Freeport, Lisa Ernst (Joe) of Zwingla, IA, Debbie, Cindy Retel of Chicago, Rachel Crain of Freeport, Brandon Crain (Traci) of Evansville, WI, Jason Crain of Atlanta, GA and Christina Neubert (Brad) of Atlanta, GA; her daughter-in-law Judy Schopf (Dave); her sisters-in-law, Judy Hammer and Shirley Hammer; and her close friends, Randy Leehan of Warren and Kathy Hicks of Warren. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren.
