She was predeceased by: her father William S. Hicks; her husband John Henry Balbach; her brothers, Carson (Doris Balbach) and Ted (Wilma Balbach); her son-in-law Roy Stark; and her close friend Linda Neff.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Shea (Tom) of Janesville, WI, Marsha Stark and Jean Beeler (Chris) of Freeport, IL; her grandchildren, Jenny Stark of Chicago, IL, Heather Berlinski (Dan) of Oconomowoc, WI and Jeremy Shea of Janesville, WI; and her great grandchildren, Emily Jane and Kailey Shea Berlinski of Oconomowoc, WI. She is also survived by her cousins, nieces, a nephew and special friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home (519 Tisdell Ave, Warren, IL 61087). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
