He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bogenrief and Elizabeth Bogenrief; his wife Carla Williams; and his grandson Chad. He is survived by: his children, Josh Williams (Brandy) of Browntown, WI, Jen Townsend of Freeport, IL and Dawn Griffin of Warren, IL; and his grandchildren, Justin, Heidi, Tyler, Charles, Hera, Claudia (Chet) and Dayinera. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established in his memory.
