He is survived by: his parents, William Determan (Patricia) of Pecatonica, IL and Mary Determan (Philipps) of Warren, IL; his spouse Connie McCord; his brothers, Greg Determan of Flossmore, IL and Dan Determan (Kristin) of McFarland, WI; his nephew Jacob; and his nieces, Serena Determan and Emma Determan.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his memory.
