He is survived by: his children, Gregory Groom (Deborah) of Freeport, IL, Jiliane Hoekstra (Jacob) and Joel Groom (Vickie); his grandchildren, Timerlee Nowviock (Amy), Ian Groom (Claire), Rhianon Groom, Keith Jason (JaVon), Brooke Meddaugh (Bruce), Dana Groom, Cory Groom, Jason Champion (Tammy), Carie Brandon (Ryan), Natalie Althoff, Cori Ingram (Chris), Robert Hoekstra, John Hoekstra, J. R. Hoekstra (Kathi) and Tammy Ouzoonian (Darryl); his siblings-in-law, Cecil Creighton and Marita Moore; and his friends, Euchre and Warren.
