He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hammer and Shirley Hammer (Geiger); and his wife Alayne Beyer. He is survived by: his children, Amy Bell (Bob) of East Dubuque, Dana Dunivan (Mike) of Shullsburg, Mica Hammer (Amber) of Winter Garden, Chaz Hammer (Melody) of Stockton, Carrie Smith (James) of Rockford and Scott Hammer (Kaylie) of Lakewood Ranch; and his sisters, Helen Ladow (Joe) and Janet Mueller (Rick). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in his name and may be mailed to 2162 Illinois Route 78 North, Stockton, IL 61085.
