She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Beyer and Barbara Beyer; and her siblings, Butch Beyer and Barbara Bender. She is survived by: her husband Charles Hammer of Warren, Illinois; her children, Amy Bell (Bob) of East Dubuque, Dana Dunivan (Mike) of Shullsburg, Mica Hammer (Amber) of Winter Garden, Chaz Hammer (Melody) of Stockton, Carrie Smith (James) of Rockford and Scott Hammer (Kaylie) of Lakewood Ranch; and her siblings, Hans Beyer (Lillian), John Beyer (Sharon) and Chris Long (Don). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in her name and may be mailed to 2162 Illinois Route 78 North Stockton, IL 61085.
