He was predeceased by: his parents, James Green and Opal Green (Maddox); his wife Laura Green (Phillips); his siblings, Doris Hartley, Lea Golf and William "Bill" Green; and his great grandchild Wilder Dalby (Armes).
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Bicanich (Jack) of Waltonville and Debra Dalby (Russell) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Brian "Ty" Bicanich (Lisa), Heather Bicanich, Emily Gentles (Eric), Sarah Mason (Brian) and Matt Dalby (Kim Armes); his great grandchildren, Kaylie, Evan, Jadyn, Briley Bicanich, Madi, Sam, Harper, Tessa, Lucas, Sebastian Gentles and Ellie Mason; his nieces and nephews, Larry Bullock, Terry Hartley, Donna Ozier (Hartley) and Betty Lou Cox (Atkins); and his pet Lulu Belle.
Memorials may be made in Walter's honor to Knob Prairie Cemetery or Waltonville VFW Post 9153.
