He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward and Mary Frank Gentry (Poole); his former wife Linda McCarthy; and his wife Paula S. Gentry (Beckham). He is survived by: his former wife Carolyn Manees; his sons, Ronald Gentry Jr. (Cheri) of Mount Vernon, Mark Alan Gentry (Debbie) of Evansville and Daniel Eric Gentry (Maribeth) of Seattle, Washington; and his stepchildren, Shannon Rogers (Greg), Jackie England (Scott), Dr. Kevin W. Pierce (Chris), Reverend Jason D. Pierce (Ginger), Bethany Johnson and Brian. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
