She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Buckley and Hilda Elaine Buckley (Counts); and her brother Elbert Alan Buckley. She is survived by: her husband Mark Akins; and her sisters, Mary May Fergen of Vermont and Rachel Christine Townsend of Belleville. She is also survived by her husband, and loved her dogs and cats as her own children.
