She was predeceased by: her parents, Lottie Pyszka and Lena Pyszka (Rustofer); her spouse Glen Newell; her daughter-in-law Melinda Newell; and her siblings, Frank Pyszka, Stanley Pyszka, Albert Pyszka and Bernice Osborn.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Dean Newell of Waltonville, Michael Scott Newell (Nicki) of Waltonville and Glenda Sue Simmons (Charlie) of Ozark, Illinois. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newell Funeral Home - Waltonville (407 E Main St, Waltonville, IL 62894). A Mass was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Barbara Catholic Church (4281 N Scheller Ln, Scheller, IL 62883).
