He was predeceased by: his father Victor L. Brelje; his wife Judy; and his brother Brian. He is survived by: his mother Betty Ann Brelje (Grefe); his brother Bruce (Tammy); and his nephews, Nickolas and Kadon. He is also survived by stepdaughter, three step grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Memorials may be given to St. Mark's Lutheran School.
