He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Stier and Ollie Stier (Spratt); his sister Edwina Stier; his daughter Sherrie Stier; and his granddaughter Jayden Primo.
He is survived by: his wife Deb Stier of Sheffield, IL; his children, Stacey Aniello (Anthony), Jennifer York (Justin), Tony Primo and Jeff Primo (Lynn); and his siblings, John Stier (Joni), Steve Stier and Pat Stier. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Sheffield Lions Club or the Sheffield Fire Department, two organizations that were close to Mike.
