He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Anderson and Betty Anderson (Peterson); his spouse Beverly Beattie; his siblings, LeRoy Anderson (Lois), Gen Wagner, Everett Anderson (Barb), Helen Miller (Ralph), Betty Pollock (Malcolm), Dorothy Brown (Bob), Hazel Brown (Don), Neil Anderson and Donald Anderson; and his brother-in-law Bill Glafka.
He is survived by: his children, Doug of Paxton, IL, Kim Johnson (Doug) of Washington, IL, Jeff of Paxton and Diane of Paxton; his grandchildren, Ross Johnson (Hannah) of Mahomet, IL, Ryan Johnson of St. Louis, MO and Reid Johnson of Arlington, TX; his great grandchild Isla Johnson; his sister Lola Glafka of Walnut; and his sister-in-law Ruth Allen of Owatonna, MN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Walnut United Methodist Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
