It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell Oberle of Walnut, Illinois, born in Geneseo, Illinois, who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Oberle and Rose Oberle (Van); his wife Betty Ann Von Holten; his sister Vivian Odell; and his children-in-law, Carrie Oberle and Jim Preston.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Preston of San Antonio, TX, Laurie Sabin (Ray) of Walnut, Ronnie Oberle (Denise) of Walnut, Jack Oberle (Kathy Bruno) of San Antonio, TX and Kim Shone (Rich) of Grapevine, TX.; and his aunt Joann Doty (Judd). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grand children.
