Gene Miller Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2020, at the age of 80, Gene Miller of Walnut Hill, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Miller and Ferne Miller (Copple); and his siblings, Jesse Miller, Jr. and Dolores Sanders. He is survived by: his former wife Mary Katherine Kell; his wife Kathy Miller of Walnut Hill; his sons, Ronald Miller (Kathy) of Walnut Hill and Steven Miller (Tammy) of Centralia; his grandchildren, Kelli Wyatt of Centralia, Nick Miller (Laura) of Centralia, Chelsey Heern (Patrick) of Centralia and Kassy Miller of Centralia; his great grandchildren, Bennett Wyatt of Centralia and Tanner Wyatt of Centralia; and his brother Jerry Miller (Linda) of Dix. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The family ask those who are attending to please be mindful of social distancing, wear a mask, and any health precaution necessary to insure a healthy environment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Little Grove Cemetery Fund and/or the CCBA Food Pantry and will be accepted at the Hillcrest Funeral Home and Cremation Center at P.O. Box 745 Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-6122, who is honored to be of service to the Miller Family.
