He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Steve Boehler (Lori) of Waggoner, Ruben Boehler (Ginger) of Waggoner, Cynthia and Hatton; his siblings, Gene Boehler (Kay) of Farmersville, Blanche Bourland (Norman) of Florida Alice, Davis of Ocala, FL, Jesse "Wayne" and Dale Boehler; his stepbrother Ronald Nelson; his sisters, Joan, Dot Campbell and Bonnie Sidles; and his grandchildren, Keith Van and Caitlyn Welsh. He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson.
