He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lex and Lillian Lex (Pack); his siblings, John, Robert, Richard Lex, Bonnie (Vehling) and Norma (Hittle); and his wife Jean Lex.
He is survived by: his son Tom Jr.; his daughter-in-law Christy Lex; his grandchildren, Brenna Lex, Braeden Lex and Bryan Lex of Wadsworth; his siblings, Annie (Gocke) and William Lex; and also Raymond. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
