It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Edward Reiser of Virginia, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Reiser and Alvena Reiser; his wife Virginia "Ginny" Reiser; and his brother William Reiser (Mary). He is survived by: his children, David Reiser (Teresa) of Petersburg, John Reiser (Mary Flynn) of Dania Beach, Martha L. Reiser of Milwaukee and Paul Reiser (Missy) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.; his grandchildren, Hannah, Eli, Maureen, Liam, Noah, Ian and Luke; and his siblings, Rosemary Stepner (Mike) of San Diego and Bob Reiser (Martha) of Petersburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, designated to the SIU School of Medicine Alzheimer Projects, Menard County Food Pantry, or St. Peter's Catholic Church in Petersburg.
