He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his siblings, John McCarthy of Tacoma, Wash. and Teresa Wyatt of St. Louis; his daughter Alison Irlam; his stepdaughter Casey Ricketts; and his daughter Erin McCarthy (John Leiter) of Anchorage, Alaska..
