She was predeceased by: her parents, Ozro Cruse and Faye Cruse (Coatney); and her husband Charles Drake. She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Whitworth (Bill) of Selah, Washington and Leroy Cruse of Flora, Illinois; her daughters, Faye Marie Shepherd of Portsmouth and Rita Kaye White (Carl) of Elizabeth City; her grandchildren, Sean Shepherd (Brittney) of Virginia Beach, Jordan Drake, Ethan White, Aaron White of Elizabeth City and Julie Kilduff of Kenly; and her great grandchildren, Isaac, Piper and Leon of Virginia Beach, Virginia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
As an expression of sympathy, the family is asking for any donations to be mailed directly to Faye Shepherd, 2935 Sterling Point Drive, Portsmouth, Virginia 23703, in order to assist the family with pending travel and funeral arrangements.
