It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary L. Kessling of Virginia, Illinois, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Wright and Minnie Wright (Helman); her husband Raymond Kessling; her siblings, Rollie Wright, Lyle Wright, Arlen Wright, Clarence Wright, Allen Deitzman, Flora, Mildred, Virginia and Lois; her daughter-in-law Maureen Kessling; and her stepgrandson Christopher Goodwin.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Kessling, Mary K. "Kathy" Lawson (Bob) and Cindy Trautt (John); her stepson William Kessling (Beverly); her grandchildren, Christopher Kessling (Theresa), Michael Kessling, Leah Millhuff (Paul), Paul Goodwin (Liz), Keith Lawson (Connie), Ryan Lawson (Nicole), Jared Trautt (Schatonna), Shane Trautt (Hannah), Jill Jones (DJ) and Chad Kessling (Laura); her brother Darrell Wright (Therese); and her sister-in-law Fonda Wright. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
