Lyle Robertson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lyle Robertson of Virginia, Illinois, who passed away on December 10, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Robertson and Leoma Robertson (Dresher); his brother Lester "Bud" Robertson; and his sister-in-law Jo Ann Robertson. He is survived by: his sisters, Joyce Robertson of Browning and Judy Smart of Browning; his stepchildren, Sam of Wisconsin, Shannon Woolums of Wisconsin and Amanda Fernandes (Ron) of Wisconsin; his niece Ellen Cassiday (Kelly) of Chatham; and his nephews, Mark Robertson (Vicki) of Keosauqua, Bryce Robertson (Kathy) of Payson, Kevin Robertson (Melinda) of Rushville and Eric Smart (Melinda) of Browning.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Triplett & Wood Funeral Home (900 W Wilson St, Rushville, IL 62681). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in memory of Lyle are suggested to the Walker Nursing Home's Activity Fund or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
