He was predeceased by: his mother Lily Tofteland; his wife Michiko; his father Walter Tofteland; and his sister Joan Michelson. He is survived by: his children, Christine Bertram (Bill), Cindy Greenwaldt (Brian) and Tim Tofteland (Michelle); his grandchildren, Katie Bertram, Will Bertram, Ryan Cox (Becky) and Matthew Cox; his great grandchildren, Finn and Liam Greenwaldt; his sister Lynna Christensen (Ron); and his brother-in-law Wayne Michelson.
