She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Sarbaugh and June Sarbaugh (Hansing); her husband Jerry Grossen; and her son Brett Boyd. She is survived by: her children, Doug Grossen of Marengo, Lance Boyd of Marengo and Sherry Grossen of St Charles; her grandchildren, Morgan, Lauren, Jessica, Anthony, Justin and Rune; her great grandchildren, Avery, Harper, Alice and Claire; and her siblings, Mary Widmayer (John), Judy Manke (Jerry), Cindy Arnold (Greg), Bill Sarbaugh (Janet) and Tom Sarbaugh (Shirley). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials can be made in her name to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
