The memory of Kathleen J. Sweatman of Virginia, Illinois, who passed away on February 22, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, William T. Gaines and Marguerite Gaines (Zieche); her spouse Glenn W. Sweatman Jr.; and her children, DeWayne Dinker Sweatman and Cheryl Annette Sweatman.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Sweatman Park of Virginia; her grandchildren, Clancy Sweatman of Easton and Chapin Sweatman of Easton; and her siblings, Linda Rogers of Woodson, Mary Watts of Jacksonville and Tom Gaines of Woodson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home (102 S Cass St, Virginia, IL 62691).
