She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles "Buck" and Irene Holmes DeFord; her husband Aaron "Jack" Cook; her daughter Michelle Merwin; her siblings, Brian "Boomer", Donnie and Sherry; and her pet Tiki.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jessica Reid (Matt) of Virginia, Amanda Eilers (Andrew Fuiten) of Buffalo, Trey Eilers (Alex Anderson) of Chatham and Cole Anderson of Springfield; her great grandchildren, Courtney, Braden, Sean, Vayda and River; her siblings, Sandy, Cindy, Judy, Chrissy, Kenny, David, Jerry Bob and Mike; and her close friend Melba Bulger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
