He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Holcomb (David) of Tennessee, Mitzi McClenning (Dan) and Patricia Davidsmeier of Springfield; his grandchildren, Billy Davidsmeier, Karlee Holcomb, Becky, Chris Weitzel, Jimmy Yost (Lucy), Amber, Chris McClenning (Erin), Katie Davidsmeier and Haley Bollman; his great grandchildren, Morgan (Taylor), Dalton, Eliza, Blane, Landon, Natalie, Kobi, Kai, Kora, Maika and Myles; his great great grandchildren, Emery and Wyatt; his sisters, Joann McGill (Dick) of Texas and Claralee Little (Leslie) of Joliet; his friends, Mike and Joyce Dyche; and his pet Mazie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to St. John's Lutheran Church or Virginia Volunteer Fire Department.
