Isabel J. Bennett Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isabel J. Bennett of Virginia, Illinois, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie H. Mahannah and Mayme R. Mahannah (Bonds); her husband Edward F. Bennett; and her sisters, Janet Houser and Gloria Joan "Jo" McHood.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Western of Springfield and Debbie Neathery (Terry) of Springfield; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Hinds, Megan Edmondson (Alan), Kristin Trapp (Pete), Kara Hinds (Ken), Brandon, Jake, Justin Hinds, Alec Kennett, Kaden Hinds, Eli Trapp, Reese, Riley Edmondson, Kylie Hinds and Addison Trapp.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish, may direct memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
