It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry A. Coon of Virginia, Illinois, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Luella Koderhandt-Ackerman; his stepfather Bill Ackerman; his father Harry Coon; his grandmother Ann Koderhandt; his brother Bob Coon (Norma); his daughter Ruth Rensing; and his grandsons, Scott Coon and Kevin Rohr.
He is survived by: his former spouse Bill Ackerman; his wife Alice Coon; his children, Mike Coon (Margie), Tim Coon (Debi) and Amy Tucker (Russ Wright); his grandchildren, Jon Foster (Terri), Dean Foster, Kelli Kane (Jeff Wilson), Clayton Tucker, Amber Beadle (Chris), Mikayla Wright and Megan Wright; his great grandchildren, Eva Coon, Aaron Kane, Brooke Wilson, Jefferie Martin Wilson, Ashlee Whitaker (Craig), Mason Beadle, Allen Foster (Mandy), Mark Foster (Bethany), Sean Foster, Scotty Coon and Aden Coon; and also Bill. He is also survived by numerous great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
