He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Winer and Anna Winer; and his sisters, Harriet Cohen and Betty Treister. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, David (Katrine), Evan (Tanya), Todd (Robin) and Beth (Mike); his grandchildren, Benor, Ariel, Abe, Benny and Annie; and his brother Ronnie.
Hal reluctantly retired when the COVID pandemic closed the court system.
