He was predeceased by: his parents, Javad Ashouri and Zahra Firouzifard; and his sister Kobra Bastanipour. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Ashouri (Pinto); his children, Sassan Ashouri (Dana) and Roya Mundy (Matthew); his grandchildren, Ryan Ashouri, Avery Ashouri and Maya Mundy; and his siblings, Khosrow Ashouri, Giti Ashouri and Homa Ashouri. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
