He is survived by: his children, Ricardo (Laura), Jennifer (Rodolfo), Gabriel (Vanessa), Isaac, Indira, Caspar (Rebecca) and Sergio (Jocelyn); his grandchildren, Rodolfo, Ricardo, Diviana, Angel, Jolianna, Evangeline, Alitzayana, Anastasia, Luna, Vinnie, Logan, Atzi, Santiago and Gabriel; and his siblings, Teresa, Francelia, Margarita and Jorge. He is also survived by extended family including his nieces and nephews that he loved like his own children.
