As we bid Florence farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Florence is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe Ungaro and Josephine Ungaro; her husband Clarke; and her sister Antoinette Ungaro. She is survived by: her sister Pauline. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew, and eight grandnieces and nephews and three great grand nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in her name to The History Center of Lake Forest-Lake Bluff (where she was proud to announce the fact that her niece ran), or to the Alzheimer's Society for their research and support of those who struggle through the disease that took Clarke from her.
