Brush of Virginia, Illinois, born in Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Schuyler Brush and Ethel Brush (Behrends); his grandsons, Daniel Joseph Howard and Braden Anderson; his stepdaughter Kali Anderson; and his siblings, Robert Brush and Patricia Olson.
He is survived by: his former wife Brenda K. Bonnette; his wife Nancy Jo Anderson (Damarin); his children, Donald Steven "Don" Brush (Angelique) of Green Valley, Scott Brush (Bettina) of Dallas, Shannon Wade Brush (Stacy) of Mackinaw and Shelleena Knollenberg (Joe) of Peoria; his stepchildren, Melonie Thomas (Todd) of Bronson, Iowa and Drew Anderson of Eugene, Oregon; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Brush (Shelby), Lynzee Brush, Ashlyn Fischer (Zach), Isabella Brush, Francesca Brush, Dalton Brush, Dakota Brush, Megan Brush, Johnathan Howard, Kimberleigh Bradenburg (Dashley), Alisabeth Alexander (Blake), Samantha Eason and Shelby Thomas; his sisters, Sally Look of Green Valley and Cheryl Bates of Morton; and his pet Merlee Sue. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
